چکیده
Screening new naturally occurring biologically active compounds is an effective strategy for creating a portfolio of platforms developing chemical agents against multidrug-resistant microbial strains. Actinomycetes are extremely prolific source structurally diverse secondary metabolites, most which have pharmaceutical or biotechnological significance. Among them, the genus Streptomyces stands out, producing about 55 % all known antibiotics. However, due to significant rediscovery already compounds, especially among actinomycetes, rate discovery antibiotics has slowed considerably. Today, there growing interest in screening from poorly studied and extreme habitats. In this study, we demonstrated phylogeny, bioactivity dereplication metabolites Je 1-93 strain isolated rhizosphere soil juniper (Juniperus excelsa Bieb.). Phylogenetic analysis based on nucleotide sequence 16S rRNA gene allowed its identification showed greatest similarity with S. hydrogenans CA04 (100 identity). Analysis antimicrobial activity strong antifungal reference Candida albicans ATCC 885-653 as well multi-resistant C. №12 strain, resistant nystatin, amphotericin B, clotrimazole, itraconazole, ketoconazole fluconazole. To identify that probably provide activity, analysed produced by sp. 1-93. facilitate dereplication, obtained extracts were separated size-exclusion chromatography column filled Sephadex LH-20. Methanol was used mobile phase. As result database natural (Dictionary Natural Products), antibiotic antimycins found extract they high probability providing strain.

Draft Genome Sequence of Marine Actinomycete Streptomyces sp. Strain NTK 937, Producer of the Benzoxazole Antibiotic Caboxamycin
Streptomyces sp. strain NTK 937 is the producer of the benzoxazole antibiotic caboxamycin, which has been shown to exert inhibitory activity against Gram-positive bacteria, cytotoxic activity against several human tumor cell lines, and inhibition of the enzyme phosphodiesterase. In this genome announcement, we present a draft genome sequence of Streptomyces sp. NTK 937 in which we identified at...
متن کاملDraft Genome Sequence of Streptomyces sp. Strain JV178, a Producer of Clifednamide-Type Polycyclic Tetramate Macrolactams
Here, we report the draft genome sequence of Streptomyces sp. JV178, a strain originating from Connecticut (USA) garden soil. This strain produces the polycyclic tetramate macrolactam compounds clifednamides A and B. The draft genome contains 10.65 Mb, 9,045 predicted protein coding sequences, and several natural product biosynthetic loci.
متن کاملSTREPTOMYCES FRADIAE, A POTENT PRODUCER OF CHOLESTEROL OXIDASE
Thirteen species of Streptomycetes, Arthrobacters and Mycobacterium were studied for the determination of a potential cholesterol oxidase producer. Only Streptomyces fradiae and Streptomyces rishiriences were found to be capable of producing this enzyme. Streptomyces fradiae was selected for the production of cholesterol oxidase and cultured in different media to find optimum media and con...
متن کاملIsolation, Identification and Screening of Saharan Actinomycete Strain Streptomyces fimbriatus AC31 Endowed with Antimicrobial Activity
The increasing global public health concern of antimicrobial resistance (AMR) necessitates exploration of natural antimicrobial agents as potential alternatives. This study aims to investigate antimicrobial activities of Saharan actinomycetes, with specific focus on the strain Streptomyces fimbriatus AC31, that holds promising potential as an alternative to combat AMR. In this context, 32 actin...
متن کاملGenome sequence of Streptomyces griseus strain XylebKG-1, an ambrosia beetle-associated actinomycete.
Streptomyces griseus strain XylebKG-1 is an insect-associated strain of the well-studied actinobacterial species S. griseus. Here, we present the genome of XylebKG-1 and discuss its similarity to the genome of S. griseus subsp. griseus NBRC13350. XylebKG-1 was isolated from the fungus-cultivating Xyleborinus saxesenii system. Given its similarity to free-living S. griseus subsp. griseus NBRC133...
